To have something as seemingly mundane as a network switch accomplish what yours does is nothing less than the equivalent of a substantial upgrade to your DAC.
To have music emerge that smooth and analog-like alone is amazing enough. But the tone that results is even more amazing.
Clearly, there’s a reduction of some sort of previously and seemingly imperceptible noise but what a difference that reduction makes.
Even rock albums sound more natural and listenable.

I already had an audiophile switch for the last couple of years. I thought that the improvement would be nice, knowing APL has a natural and analog like sound in its products.
But the surprise was big. There was still dirty and noise on my system and you can’t tell how much until you put a very good switch and it removes them.
The naturalness improved and it is compared to a very expensive gear update. In a small box.

Lover of APL products, for their naturalness and very analog sound. The ANS-MR clearly reinforces this analog side. The sound is more open, more fluid, the silences between notes clearly better respected. I didn’t have any other switches at home; But this cleans up the RJ 45 network, offering more natural listening; and reinforces the qualities of APL devices. Some people criticize the audio switches for cleaner, but more artificial listening. This is not the case for the APL swith. Thank you Alex for your work and Music is grateful to you too! 😉

Music is indispensable in my life. I always turn on my system to play different kinds of music when I am at home. For my own convenience, I usually play music via Roon. You can imagine digital products are very important to me. Having used audio switch for a few years, I have used different brands, be it local or overseas. I have also tried one audio switch for over hundred thousand Hong Kong dollars. It really sounded great but it should be like that because of the price tag.
I have also tried to use multiple audio switches of different brands together in my system. The improvement is not worth the money. It makes my system more complicated.
Once I tried APL switch, I know that it is what I am looking for. The compact size suits my case because my listening area is not big and I have different kinds of equipment. The sound quality improvement is very significant. I cannot imagine my system can play such sound full of analog taste. The naturalness attracts me the most.
I play all kinds of music, especially classical music. It gives me the impression like I am sitting in front of the stage of a concert hall. The piano is so real. I can “see” and “feel” the size of the piano and I can see the player’s fingers movement.
What I can say is this APL audio switch only gives you one thing—MUSIC and music only. I am more than happy to use it every day in my system. One tiny gadget kills all the switches I have used before. Thanks Alex for such a wonderful product.

I didn’t expect that, but sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference.
The APL switch is a small but excellently designed and carefully crafted device.
It does a brilliant job of processing the incoming signal and making it available to the receiver in the highest possible quality.
It is a device fully dedicated to musicality.
Of course, this also includes the usual attributes, but that alone does not do the device justice.
Its work is absolutely impressive and conveys a subtle feeling of realistic music reproduction.

Dear Alex,
So far I have been able to make four of my customers very happy with this switch. The unanimous verdict is that this switch, even compared to much more expensive devices, makes the proximity to the musician much more tangible. Conclusion: We have never been able to experience streaming music in such an analog way!
For me personally, streaming wasn’t an issue because it couldn’t show me the living music. With this switch, streaming is convincing for the first time and the gap to the very good SACD is getting thinner. Very wonderful work! THANK YOU

Compared to the audiophile switch I had, The ANS-MR is more texture and air in the lower frequency as well as more detail and better overall flow in the music, which flowed so effortlessly.
